Yes. Trulu is free to download in the Australian App Store, and you can scan products with full scores and breakdowns at no cost. Some advanced features are available with Trulu Pro, but core scanning stays free.

We focus exclusively on packaged products sold in Australia - food, drinks, supplements, beauty, and personal care - across the major supermarkets and pharmacies. Our database grows every day.

Trulu is built in Australia, for Australian shelves. Our scoring is tuned to local labels, ingredients, and FSANZ-aligned standards - not a generic global database. We also don't take money from brands to influence rankings.

Not yet. Trulu is currently focused on Australia - the app is available in the Australian App Store and our database is built around products sold here. We may expand to other markets in the future.

Trulu is an independent consumer app built by a small Australian team. AI helps with ingredient analysis and product scoring at scale, and we prioritise human review on flagged items, edge cases, and high-impact categories. No brand sponsorships, no pay-to-play listings.

We do everything we can to score products fairly and reduce errors, but with thousands of products and constant reformulations, we can't guarantee every score is perfect at every moment.
